2. get away from
I have a dream about taking a math exam or preparing a big project that I have never studied or prepared for, it is absolutely awful eventhough it's just a dream. I need to get away from thinking about that.

3. keep up with
Samsung had always kept up with new technology before Apple made the iPhone.

4. came across
I came across an antique district in Porto when I travelled to Portugal.

5. hold up
Because I couldn't book an airplane ticket, my journey was held up.

6. take to
I took to read books about economy, history and politics after when I was 28

7. carry out
Because Somalian pirates are taking a lot of hostages, the Navy couldn't carry out their rescue operation.

8. see to ( = see to it that)
 A : My facebook accout is always being hacked. Can you see to it that the virus is removed?
   B : I'll see to it.

9. get through to
I couldn't get through to my homestay host with my telephone card when I was travelling but it was possible to get through to my parents in Korea. It is very weird.
